You don’t need to know the Mothership rules in advance\, though if you’re a keen bean\, they are available for free on the Tuesday Knight Games website (search for the Player Survival Guide and pick the pdf option). \nI will bring dice and pregenerated character sheets. If you want to show off your own dice you’ll need d100s and d20s. If you’re a *super keen bean* and want to create your own character\, get in touch with me on the Discord server (see below). \nBrief teaser for the module:\n“During a routine cargo job on a remote asteroid mining base the crew learns that one of the workers has disappeared. No blood\, no body\, no record of the airlock opening. Just gone. And that’s not the only unexplainable thing that’s been happening at Ypsilon-14… What is the alien material at the heart of this asteroid? What do the weird events around the base have to do with it? Who\, if anyone\, can be trusted? DESCRIPTION:Mafia\, which the TV Show Traitors is based upon\, is a social game. You’ll get a secret role and work with your team to win. Each game takes around 40 minutes\, so we play multiple rounds. The goal of the Mafia is to eliminate the Citizens. The Citizens try to find the Mafia. \nHow Does the Game Work? \nThe game has two phases: Night and Day. During the Day\, everyone briefly discusses who they think the Mafia are\, then votes to eliminate someone. During the Night\, the Mafia can eliminate an innocent Citizen. \nThe game continues until either the Mafia Team is eliminated or the Mafia outnumbers (or equals to) the Citizens. But you don’t need to remember all of this; the best way to learn this game is to play it! \nWhy Mafia? \nThis game is played all over the world. People from over 50 countries and over 15\,000 players take part regularly worldwide (see\, for example\, ‘Mafia World Tour’).
