DESCRIPTION:“The Haunting of Ypsilon-14” – A Mothership TTRPG one shot \nThis is an OSR style roleplaying system that is very easy to learn\, set far into the future. Mankind has conquered the galaxy and subjected it to destructive capitalism. Similar media – Alien franchise\, Starship Troopers\, Bioshock\, The Expanse. \nRoleplaying beginners are very welcome. You don’t need to know the Mothership rules in advance\, though if you’re a keen bean\, they are available for free on the Tuesday Knight Games website (search for the Player Survival Guide and pick the pdf option). \nI will bring dice and pregenerated character sheets. If you want to show off your own dice you’ll need d100s and d20s. If you’re a *super keen bean* and want to create your own character\, get in touch with me on the Discord server (see below). \nBrief teaser for the module:\n“During a routine cargo job on a remote asteroid mining base the crew learns that one of the workers has disappeared. No blood\, no body\, no record of the airlock opening. Just gone. And that’s not the only unexplainable thing that’s been happening at Ypsilon-14… What is the alien material at the heart of this asteroid? What do the weird events around the base have to do with it? Who\, if anyone\, can be trusted? And can the crew make it out alive before they also disappear?” \nI’ve been GMing for several years now but this will be my first time running a game at an event like this.
