DESCRIPTION:Come test your mettle at a series of board games to prove yourself the ultimate Strange Games BoardGamer of 2023! \nThe tournament runs over 4 knockout rounds on Saturday and Sunday afternoons\, for up to 32 players\, and will feature Azul\, Splendor\, Ticket to Ride (London/San Francisco editions)\, Sushi Go\, and Carcassonne. \nIn the interest of time please make sure you are familiar with the rules before play starts – if you don’t know any of these games\, you could attend a New Friends & New Players Session held in Shackleton Lodge on Friday evening or Saturday morning. \n\nRound 1: Groups\, 2pm Saturday in the Village Square\nNames will be drawn randomly into groups of 4 and assigned one of the games above at 1.45pm Saturday (feel free to come witness the draw!). Play will start at 2pm. \nRound 2: Quarter-finals\, 3.30pm Saturday in the Village Square\nThe top two players from each game in Round 1 will be assigned a new 4-player game to play next (as shown below). \nRound 3: Semi-finals\, 2pm Sunday in the Village Square\nThe top two players from each Quarter-final will be assigned a new 4-player game to battle for a place in the Tournament Grand Final. \nRound 4: Grand Final\, 3.30pm Sunday in the Village Square\nThe top two players from each semi-final will battle it out in a final 4-player game of Carcassonne (base edition) to be crowned The Ultimate Strange BoardGamer of 2023 \n  \n[32 places available] \nAges 16 and over \nSign-up is recommended but feel free to come to the Village Square at 1.45pm Saturday to see if there are places left \n
