Strange Games runs the Strange Games Festival (late August), the Strange Games Campout (mid July) in Sussex, Strange Games North (mid July) in North Yorkshire and Strange Games Bristol (end of July) in… Bristol. All share the same inclusive welcoming vibe, board games, role-playing games, social deduction, food and drink, marquees, glamping, camping and so much fun!

The Strange Games Campout

The Campout is our smaller, cosier Sussex event. It caters for 200+ happy campers, and has boardgames (including our board game library), RPGs and social deduction games. Unlike the Festival, it doesn’t have organised activities or games (but you’re welcome to arrange your own), the focus is on providing a lovely sandbox for you to find your own fun and make new friends without the pressure of a full schedule. It has food stalls, a bar and coffee and an unhurried pace, so you can get on with gaming!

Expect the unique Strange Games vibe: chilled, inclusive and fun. Come to find the friends you haven’t met yet.

All tickets are full weekend tickets and include camping. We do not sell day tickets. No pets.

• Pitch your own tent. Included in your ticket price, right in the heart of the action. Just bring your tent and set up in the camping field.
• Book a pre-pitched tent. Prefer to arrive and walk straight in? You can book a ready-to-go tent from our pre-pitch partner (see below).
• Bring a campervan. You’ll need a campervan ticket. Glade – on the site (limited), Hookup – on the site, with electric (limited), and Standard – in the parking field, a little further out

Strange Games North

The Strange Games Festival heads North! Strange Games North, like the Campout, is a smaller, cosier event. It caters for 200+ happy campers, and has boardgames (including our board game library), RPGs and social deduction games (including Werewolf and Blood on the Clocktower). Unlike the Festival, it doesn’t have organised activities or games (but you’re welcome to arrange your own), the focus is on providing a lovely sandbox for you to find your own fun. It has food and a bar, so you can get on with gaming!

All tickets are full weekend tickets, and include camping. We do not sell day tickets. No pets.

• Pitch your own tent in the camping field at no extra cost, right in the heart of the action.
• Book a pre-pitched tent, ready to walk into, from our partner below (TO BE CONFIRMED).
• Bring a campervan and park up on the site, ticket required.
• Hire a cottage. There are six cottages on site which will be available for rent direct from the site.

Strange Games Bristol

Strange Games Bristol, like the Campout, is a smaller, cosier event. It caters for 200+ happy campers, and has boardgames (including our board game library), RPGs and social deduction games (including Werewolf and Blood on the Clocktower). There will be some organised events, but not as full a schedule as the Festival. It has food stalls, a bar and coffee, so you can get on with gaming!

All tickets are full weekend tickets, and include camping. We do not sell day tickets. No pets.

• Hire a bunkroom. We have five six-bed bunkrooms available for group hire, perfect if you’re coming as a crew and want a roof over your heads.

The Strange Games Festival

The Festival is our flagship event, and caters for 500+ happy campers. As well as our board library, RPGs and social deduction, there are other activities such as mini-megagames, archery, a quiz, mobile immersive games, plus our amazing Strangelands RPG campaign. We have food stalls, a bar, coffee for you to enjoy. If you want a big, curated event, with lots to do and lots of activities, that’s the Festival.

All tickets are full weekend tickets and include camping. We do not sell day tickets. No pets.

However you sleep, your festival ticket covers you.
