Design Our T-Shirt! Art Competition Now Open!
We’re looking for the next Strange Games Festival t-shirt design, and we want it to come from you!
Submit your artwork for a chance to have your design voted on by the Strange Games community, with the top three shortlisted designs going to our team for the final pick. If your design makes it onto the shirt, you’ll receive your very own copy, printed and yours to keep.!
Submission Guidelines
Please read carefully before submitting:
- Format: PNG only
- Resolution: 300dpi minimum
- Dimensions: 3000 x 3000px
- Colour: Full colour accepted
- Entries per person: Maximum 2
- Artwork must be entirely your own original work — no AI-generated art, no third-party characters, logos, or licensed imagery
🏆 The Prize
The winning designer will receive a Strange Games Festival t-shirt printed with their own design.
Deadline
All entries must be submitted by 10am BST 18 May 2026.

Strange Games Festival – Art Submission Competition Terms & Conditions
By submitting artwork to this competition, you (“the Submitter”) agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility
- The competition is open to all individuals unless otherwise stated by the organisers.
- Submissions must be the original work of the Submitter.
2. Submission Requirements
- Artwork must be submitted by the published deadline in the format specified by the organisers.
- Each Submitter may submit a maximum of 2 entries.
- Submissions must not contain offensive, defamatory, or unlawful content.
3. Ownership & Intellectual Property
- The Submitter confirms they are the sole creator and owner of the submitted artwork, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Submitted artwork must be entirely original and created by hand or using digital tools under the Submitter’s own creative direction.
- AI-generated artwork is not permitted. This includes artwork wholly or partially produced using AI image generation tools (e.g. Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, or similar).
- Submitted artwork must not incorporate any third-party characters, logos, trademarks, or imagery, including but not limited to copyrighted fictional characters, brand assets, or licensed designs.
- The Submitter retains ownership of their original artwork.
- The Submitter shall indemnify and hold harmless Strange Games Festival and its organisers against any claims, damages, or costs arising from a breach of these representations, including any claim that the submitted artwork infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights.
4. Licence to Use
- By submitting artwork, the Submitter grants Strange Games Festival and its organisers a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display the submitted artwork for any purpose connected with the event, including but not limited to:
- Printing on merchandise (including t-shirts)
- Promotional and marketing materials
- Social media and digital content
- Event-related publications
- This licence applies to all submissions, not just the winning entries.
- The Submitter waives any right to additional compensation beyond any prize offered.
5. Voting & Selection Process
- Submitted artwork will be put to a public/community vote.
- The top three voted designs will be shortlisted.
- The organisers reserve the right to select the final design(s) from the shortlisted entries at their sole discretion.
- The organisers’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
6. Credit
- The organisers will make reasonable efforts to credit the Submitter when their artwork is used, but do not guarantee this in all cases (e.g. where space or format does not permit).
7. Prize
- Where a prize is offered, it will be awarded as described in the competition brief.
- Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
8. Disqualification
- The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any submission that does not meet these terms, is submitted after the deadline, or is found to infringe a third party’s rights.
9. Privacy
- Personal information provided during submission will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
10. General
- The organisers reserve the right to amend these terms at any time.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms in full.
