Our market is for independent sellers whose work fits the Strange Games spirit – board games, tabletop RPG supplies, handmade crafts, gaming-adjacent merch, and anything that’d make a gamer’s eyes light up. Market at each event
The market looks a little different at each of our three events.
Strange Games Festival – 28–31 Aug · Bushy Wood, Sussex
Market window: ~2 hours on Sunday afternoon
Our flagship festival runs a dedicated market on Sunday afternoon, typically for around two hours. It’s a popular slot – attendees have had a whole weekend of gaming and are very much in the mood to spend money on lovely things. We’ve got 500+ gamers at this event.
We limit the event to 20 tables, although we encourage people to take as little space as they need and half tables are available. Table space is limited, so apply soon!
Strange Games Bristol – 31 Jul–3 Aug · Woodhouse Park, Bristol
Market window: potentially all day (details TBC)
Bristol is our newest event and we’re exploring an extended selling window – potentially an all-day market opportunity. Details are still being finalised, so if you’re interested, get in touch early and we’ll keep you posted as plans develop.
Bristol is a smaller, more intimate event (~200 attendees), which often means a more relaxed atmosphere for vendors and genuine conversations with buyers.
Strange Games Campout
No market at this event
The Campout is a relaxed sandbox weekend with no organised market. If you’re a vendor, we’d suggest applying for the Festival or Bristol instead.
What to expect
- Table space is provided – you don’t need to bring your own. Exact dimensions confirmed on approval.
- Priority is given to attendees of the festival. They also sell for no fee.
- Power is not guaranteed – plan for battery-operated setups.
- You handle your own transactions. Bring a card reader if you want to take card payments.
- We’re a friendly crowd. Many attendees are indie game enthusiasts who love chatting to makers and designers.
- Applications are reviewed manually.
