You’ll hear me say it at the Welcome meeting on the Friday evening, but I thought it worth letting everyone know ahead of time…
The Strange Games Festival is a welcoming, inclusive, chilled event. For the weekend we can put away our daily lives, and be part of a community of gamers, having an awesome time together.
We have a simple rule for the festival, “Don’t be a dick”. Which means, we don’t tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, disablism or any other discriminatory or anti-social behaviour at all.
Please remember, not all disabilities are visible outwardly, initially, or in ways one might assume.
Some people may not use the pronouns you expect. Please respect that – it’s ok to ask the group, or volunteer your own.
If you’re not happy with any of the above, drop me a line and we’ll refund your ticket.
