Delving after Dad, D&D 5e

Your mother has called you and siblings to a family meeting. She looks worried. She has been crying. She has a nervous energy that you are not accustomed to in any dwarf, let alone her. Normally so strong and confident. When all the siblings are assembled, she looks at each of you in turn. “Your… father…” she says in a slightly choked voice. She takes a deep breath and continues “Your father has only gone and gotten himself killed or kidnapped or eaten or some other such nonsense. Go down in those caves after him, find him, and bring him home alive so I can bloody murder him!!!!”

Note: Players are the children of a famous Dwarven adventurer, who left several weeks ago on yet another adventure and has yet to return. Can you find him in the darkness below… Can you escape with him. Would you dare return home to your mother without him.
