Welcome to the Bead-Filled Bonanza at the Strange Games Festival!
Hey there, game enthusiasts! Ready to dive headfirst into a bead-packed adventure that will tickle your brain, flex your strategic muscles, and show off your undying love for all things board games? Join our epic Uno tournament happening right under your noses at the Strange Games Festival. Here’s the scoop:

Tournament Overview:
•Team Spirit: You’ll be split into four mighty teams. Pick your colour, channel your inner warrior, and defend it with all the gusto you can muster!
– Blue: The Battleships
– Orange: The Rooks
– Green: The Snakes
– Yellow: The Jokers
• Awesome Swag: the first 400 of you lucky folks will get a bag with a piece of coloured ribbon and 4 wooden beads. We’ve got 100 per colour of these beauties just for you.
• Get Your Gear: During registration, snag your bead bag and a pack of Uno. Uno supplies are limited (only about 100 packs), so don’t be greedy—one per party, please! We’ve placed extra packs around key locations in case we run out. It’s like a card-themed Easter egg hunt!

How to Play:
• Challenge Accepted: All weekend long, challenge your fellow Festival-goers to games, wagering your precious, precious beads.
• Learn Uno (Or Else): If you don’t know how to play Uno, you’ve been missing out on a childhood treat! Note: You’ll receive Uno Flip packs, but feel free to stick to regular Uno rules if the Flip version sounds too wild.
• Bead Wagering: Decide how many beads to bet before each game. Winner takes all, so bet wisely and with the boldness of a bead-hungry beast!

The Grand Finale:
• Bead Count: During Simon’s Monday speech, it’s bead-counting time. Each team will dump their beads into their colour’s bucket. May the best team win!
• Ultimate Prize: The top bead hoarder wins the prestigious grand Uno Prize and a lifetime of Festival fame. Yes, you heard it right—the GRAND UNO PRIZE! Imagine the glory, the accolades, and the endless bragging rights. This isn’t just a prize; it’s a beacon of your strategic genius and competitive spirit.

Important Rules (Listen Up!):
• No Stacking: Stacking +2 and +4 cards in Uno? Nope, not happening. Official rules are crystal clear—if you get slapped with a +4, you draw 4 and lose your turn. No sneaky adding +2s to make someone draw 6!
• Team Tactics: Feel free to team up with your fellow colours, but beware of games swarming with opposing colours. You might find yourself under a barrage of +4s!
• Alternative Bead Usage: Want to bribe someone to fetch your emotional support socks from your team or snag a slice of their pizza? Go ahead! We encourage all sorts of bead-bartering shenanigans.
